QUILT SHOW!!! Nov 4,5 2011

I cannot believe it is only 4 days until the doors open for our Quilt Show = Pryor Patchers Quilt Guild has over 100 members.  Many have submitted entires for our Quilt Show and it is going to be spectacular! The Mid America Expo Building on HWY 69 south is located between Pryor and Chouteau, OK. There will be 12 vendors and one is a SCISSOR/KNIFE Sharpener.  Stop by and see some of the awesome things on display. A Concession is going to have soups and sandwiches.. plus!!! Drop by 9-4pm Friday and Saturday.  You will be impressed!

Murphy Happenings

Today there were ladies in lawn chairs by the church house with a warm fire which means Harvest fun! Growing up in this community, I so remember the hay rides that a local rancher would put on for us. A hayride where some of the older guys would inevitably go ahead of us prepare to scare us. The wives would fix up a bunch of goodies so we didn't just get candy. Thanks rancher family - so nice to remember those fun days!

I enjoy doing so many things! Quilting and Genealogy are two of the fav's. At the basis of it all is my love for my Savior.  It is because of that I am blessed to be able to bless others with my creations and research. My brother caught the research bug many years ago and has surpassed all my endeavors. Finding our lineage to Adam and Eve was the highlight of my research.. enjoy whatever you find here.
